Internal automatic antenna tuners will now be available
for the Jupiter HF transceiver.
The JT-11 is $299.00 including return shipping factory installed, $209.00
plus shipping for the JT-11K user-installable kit. We are taking orders
now. Factory installations of tuners in existing Jupiter units should
begin in December. The user-installable kit will be available in February,
and new units shipping with tuners installed will be available at approximately

JT-11K Tuner Specifications
CONFIGURATION: Switched "L" network
INDUCTOR RANGE: 20 uH
CAPACITOR RANGE: 3900 pF
TUNING TIME: 0.1 to 5 seconds, 3 seconds average
FREQUENCY COVERAGE: 1.8 to 30 MHz
TUNABLE LOAD RANGE: 6 to 800 ohms (10:1 SWR)
POWER RANGE: 5 to 150 watts. Jupiter max output
power is 100 watts.
Approximately 15 watts minimum is necessary for the tuner to go into
operation. For QRP power level operation, after antenna tune at 15 watts,
transmitter power may be reduced to below 15 watts for QRP operation.
