 I have also re-capped all the electrolytic capacitors on the IF/AF Board, Logic Board, and the VF Display Driver Board. ​ WHAT A DIFFERENCE !!  It is unbelievable to me how quiet the receiver is now - signals just POP out of the quiet !  Sure recommend it to anyone with an OMNI V. I have also re-capped all the electrolytic capacitors on the IF/AF Board, Logic Board, and the VF Display Driver Board. ​ WHAT A DIFFERENCE !!  It is unbelievable to me how quiet the receiver is now - signals just POP out of the quiet !  Sure recommend it to anyone with an OMNI V.
