+**Mod to Change the Operating Frequency to Cover 29.0 - 30 MHz**
+I modified my module for the ten meter band by replacing the crystal in the module with a 20.65600 Mhz crystal from Marden Electronics, 1-800-222-6093  32100 Droster Ave, Burlington, WI 53105-0277. Be sure to tell them that it is for a Ten Tec Argo/Scout...Cost in 1/96 was $12.50 per crystal , minimum order $25.00, and a $5.00 handling charge. You may be disappointed in the receive sensitivity, but a small preamp will perk up your Argo very nicely.

+**Follow-up**
+I wanted to let you know that I replaced the 28.5 Mhz crystal in my Ten meter Scout module. That way I could still cover 28.0 to 28.5 and the new crystal covers 29.0 to 29.5.
